Call for Applications: Utrecht Network Summer School "Advocacy for Academic Freedom and Human Rights"

At a time when scientific enquiry, engaged scholarship and the human rights of students and scholars face increasing threats—both globally and within Europe- it is imperative to empower universities continue to be strongholds of academic freedom, solidarity, and responsibility.

How can we effectively safeguard these fundamental academic values, both within the university and beyond? How can we support students and scholars who are confronting persecution or other threats to their safety and well-being?

The Summer School on “Advocacy for Academic Freedom & Human Rights: Internationalization in a Fragmented World” provides a unique opportunity to critically explore these pressing issues from a global perspective and to connect with experts and initiatives from around the world. Join the summer school and take the chance to enhance your advocacy skills and to make a difference!
